Courtney Frager

12 Days of Graduates: #11
This lovely lady is Courtney Frager! Courtney is actually graduating in the spring, but wanted to do a set of fall photos to celebrate. I love the orange and dark green colors that fall has to offer and Courtney looked stunning in every location we went to! Courtney is from Plano, Texas and will be graduating with her degree in Human Development and Family Studies next semester. Soon after she plans to participate in the accelerated nursing program. It was so fun to get to know this sweet girl and I think her heart for people will glorify the Lord in many ways.

Samantha Pfeiffer

12 Days of Graduates: #9
I sure do love the beautiful nurses I get to capture…it’s amazing how I’ve gotten to meet and photograph such amazing women all based on word of mouth. This super fun and kind-hearted nurse is Samantha Pfeiffer. We ended up having the session over the span of two days and we definitely made the most of it! The fall leaves were lovely to capture and Samantha looked gorgeous! Samantha is from Dallas, Texas and comes from a family in the medical field. She felt led to pursue a career helping others as well and plans to move back to Dallas post-graduation.

Robin Daniel

12 Days of Graduates: #8
I was beyond thrilled when this plant lover asked to take pictures in the TTU horticulture garden…a spot I absolutely love but so few people choose to go to! Robin Daniel bloomed with beauty in the midst of the flowers and greenery on this lovely fall evening. Robin grew up right here in Lubbock, Texas and is graduating with her master’s degree in health administration. Robin describes herself as a natural leader who loves data, finance and healthcare. Going from the Hub city to the thriving metropolis of DFW, Robin will be working at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas post-graduation.

Shannan Saju

12 Days of Graduates: #6
“I truly can’t grasp a better way in which to live my life than a life dedicated to the service of others, the idea of going alongside individuals and meeting them where they are, being a beacon of hope to them makes my heart leap for joy. I aspire to have positive impact on the lives of patients, as nurses before have had a lasting impact on me. I have seen and experienced firsthand what the exceptional care of a nurse can do for a person. My mother is a nurse, and I can attest that her loving hands and prayerful heart has brought me to where I am today. She never gave up on me, and encouraged me to wholeheartedly go after whatever my dreams consisted of. As a child I had many illnesses that felt debilitating at times but nurses in my life were instrumental for me as I finally began to take ownership of my health and refused to be told what I could and could not do. The famous saying goes, “there are many hats in which a nurse wears”, from being the bridge that links resources to those that need it most to being a patient’s last defense. Everyday as I walk through the hospital doors, I can’t help but feel this great sense of gratitude for all healthcare professionals alike, those that go above and beyond for their patients to make them feel comfortable, those that spend an extra 5 minutes getting to know the person behind the diagnosis; as my life story continues to be written, I am excited to see how I too can have a small role to play in the execution of that vision.” – Shannan Saju, nursing grad ’17

Stephanie King

Hey, yall. I’m excited to share these photos of my sweet friend, Stephanie King! Our friendship began in Sigma Phi Lambda when she asked me to disciple her. I still don’t feel very qualified to do so, but the Lord definitely had a plan. Our frequent meet ups and vulnerable conversations has formed a pretty sweet friendship. I can definitely say that I have learned a lot from Stephanie and she opened my eyes to perspectives I never would have realized on my own. She is a wonderful sister in Christ and I’m so thankful the Lord brought us together. Stephanie is graduating in May, but we decided to do a little photo session early! She is completing her degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and is eager to see where the Lord takes her on her career path. Stephanie has a passion for helping adults in need and would like to work for a non-profit organization. Love you, Steph!
